At The Edge of My Sanity | Solo Exhibition

I curated a solo exhibition called At The Edge of My Sanity, It was important that I created work to showcase my distinct style and understanding of space.  I wanted each piece to be suspended from the ceiling because it starts to evoke a conversation between the viewer and the piece; it forces the viewer to walk around the piece. I wanted the imagery to be provoking and confrontational but all distinctly different.

The Process:

I illustrated all of the imagery and screen printed each piece onto 2 1/2 yards of army cotton. Each piece ranges from three to four color separations.

After screen printing, I stretched both sides of the canvas so it was double sided and I finished it by creating custom walnut and birch wood frames.
